We are incredibly proud to share some fantastic news from the weekend, 7th Dromore Craigavon Scouts have won the Training Shield at the Brian Boru County Shield!
After months of preparation, teamwork, and determination, our Scouts rose to the challenge and delivered an outstanding performance across the competition. The Brian Boru County Shield is always a tough test of scouting skills, knowledge, and resilience, and our young people met it head-on with confidence and commitment.
This win is especially meaningful for our group as it marks our first major trophy victory in 13 years. It’s a testament not only to the hard work of the Scouts themselves, but also to the dedication of our leaders, helpers, and the wider scouting family who support the group week in, week out.
Throughout the event, the Scouts demonstrated everything scouting stands for; teamwork, problem-solving, leadership, and perseverance. They supported one another, stayed focused under pressure, and represented 7th Dromore Craigavon with pride.
A huge congratulations to everyone involved in this achievement. We couldn’t be prouder of what our Scouts have accomplished, and this victory will be remembered as a milestone moment in the history of our group.
