As our Scouts, Venture Scouts and Leaders prepare for an unforgettable journey to the Jamboree in Denmark, we want to take a moment to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who has supported us along the way.
Over the past number of months, our young people and volunteer leaders have worked tirelessly through fundraising events, community activities and sponsorship initiatives. Thanks to these efforts, and the incredible generosity of local businesses, organisations, family members and friends, we successfully fundraised over £10,000 to help make this adventure a reality.
The funds raised will help cover a wide range of expenses, including:
- Travel to and from Denmark
- Jamboree camp fees
- Food and catering costs
- Camping and activity equipment
- A visit to Copenhagen
- Jamboree souvenirs and memorabilia
- Any unexpected expenses that arise during the trip
Events like the Jamboree provide young people with life-changing experiences, allowing them to develop confidence, independence, leadership skills and friendships with Scouts from around the world. These opportunities would not be possible without the support of our wider community.
